There is a port that is connected to the car's ECU through a 16-pin connector (DLC port). Below images will clear your doubt.

Has anyone used this on Skoda vehicles? I am facing an issue wherein the TCS off indicator is on. And there is no way i can erase the fault.Please help.

Thanks a4anurag for this information. So far I was using a not very handy bosch kts 370 for reading the exact same data. Now this product makes my life super easy.
Also can you confirm if the free access to 2 AOEMs is a life long thing or its limited?

It is a life long install. All that well have to do is install updates as and when it is issued.

That is a good find and good effort on trying on some domestic cars.

OBD port will have 12v power supply enough to power this device.

Pin 16 and pin5 in this case i believe.

Been over 6 months and life is good with this scanner as it give me more data than the regular ELM 327 readers. No hiccups or issues till date.

Just putting down three graphs that I recorded for a short while:

Boost Pressure - Brown line;
Vehicle Speed - Yellow line;
MAF - Green line
Engine RPM - Blue line



Was cruising at 90 kmph and in the middle gave a burst to 110 kmph. The raise in lines and dip is what denotes the small burst.

Was cruising at 80 kmph and then gave a steady acceleration till 120 kmph in 5th gear.

Was maintaining the A/C in Auto mode with temperature at 25 deg C during the start and then changed to 21 deg C and then raised the set temp to 25 deg C.

PS: All this was done in road that was desolate and a dead end (Part of ORR that hasn't been completed so no traffic is there and I was in the passenger seat where my friend was doing the driving.

First of all, sincere apologies for updating you guys on the details pertaining to a Hyundai car. It is today that I could get hold of it.

Here is some data from it:

Car in question: Verna VTVT (1.4L)
Model: 2013
Variant: May be Magna as it comes with Manual A/C, Steel wheels

Location of OBD Port along with the fuses


Details of the Fuses in the passenger compartment


Once the OBD reader is connected and Hyundai is selected, the below Menu appears - Selected 16-pin DLC


Next screen is for the location of the Vehicle (USA-specific or Rest of the world - read General). I selected General.


Next screen is how does one want to connect to the ECU, either of the methods can be used. I chose the second one by scanning the VIN automatically. Wanted to see if it identifies the car/engine correctly or no. It did!

Just ordered easydiag plus 2.0. Will post my experience post checking it out. From what I've read, it looks like a good device. I like the concept of getting software for specific manufacturers. And I'm willing to pay since this will help me get more specific details, rather than just generic information.

Search AliExpress buddy. You'll get it.

Try to get hold of the item with 2 free software's (read choice of manufacturers) like I chose Hyundai & Maruti.

All,
A note of caution. I got the EasyDiag 2.0 Plus from Aliexpress Thursday. Tested it out on my Manza. The results are not good:

1. I get diagnostic error 44 when I try to do a scan.
2. The app is clunky, but after a few hits & misses can be setup properly
3. Compared to Torque the EasyDiag App is not that great. But the device will not work with any other software other than that of their own.
4. I was able to connect via EOBD rather than TATA module and get some rudimentary information.

Overall disappointed. Searching for a good Scanner still.

Yes, their app is facing problems. I am not able to connect to my Swift either. It is displaying some error when I select the software version.

It's been long since I have used the reader.
