Hey Guys !

I have a 96 M-1000 and have been running it for the past 2 years on LPG. I have a Techlab 'Magic' kit (Govt approved) and it gives me 8-9 kmpl on gas with a/c on 80% of the time.

I'm facing a strange problem for the past 2 weeks....the car's perfectly smooth in the first 10 mins of running....however, after 10 mins of driving through traffic, the car starts to 'miss' - it feels like the car's run out of fuel and you're still pushing it. When I pull over and rev hard she sounds and feels fine again but the problem resurfaces again in a few minutes in traffic. A friend of mine told me that the gas condenses when the car gets hot and therefore blocks the fuel supply but my gas mechanic says this isnt the problem. He changed the solenoid switch and the car was ok for 2 days and it was back to square one on the 3rd day.

Could my friend be right ? Would the gas in the tank condense when the car gets warm and block the supply or is it really something else wrong ?

Lemme know if other members have had a similar problem and what you've done to correct it

Cheers,

J

check your plug cords. have had that problem with my 1000 as well. replacing these cords worked well for me.

Check the coolant level of your car. If its on the bottom side ..top it up. Also check that the coolant moves freely in and out of the gas kit....If every thing looks fine check the gas supply pipe (runs under the car)for any blockage
