Dude Navdeep, I doubt any Fiesta in India has serviced 5 times till now. Was launched in November! Yet, keep hunting maybe someone can provide some info for 2-3 services.

Navdeep..
Yes Ford provides first 3 free services

1st service : 1000km (just normal check up and wash - no oil chnge)
2nd service : 5000km (again checkup and wash . . no oil change )
3rd Service : 10000 km (oil and filter change)

The only time i paid them was on the third free service for the oil and filter that was around Rs1000 approx. actually I have a ford fiesta petrol .. so cant say anything about the cost for TDCI..

Extended warranty can be opted at anytime of the first year .. u always have the option to go for 1 - 2 years extended warranty ..

kdb,

what is your feedback on ford fiesta petrol. I see a lot of TDCI on roads but very less petrol versions. Can you give feedback on FE, driving comfort and power. Also does any one have the number of units sold in diesel and pertrol versions

thanks,
prasad

Prasad, go through the Long Term Ownership Reports section and you'll get a few reviews of the Fiesta Petrol & Diesel models.

Navdeep, you can PM Lamborghini for first hand info on the Diesel.

Cheers

Hey Navdeep,
even for the diesel, the first 3 services are for free.
We have only spent Rs2500 on the car for some coating but otherwise, it has been free to the best of my knowledge.
Here's the Long Term Review of the car which more or less mentions all the problems that we have had with the car till date.
It is an awesome car and i am sure you will not be unhappy with your decision.

Paid service will cost around 3000. Until and unless at 30 - 40k service they dont tell you that something specific has to be changed. Don't go for total maintainance plan but yet go for extended warranty. Total maintainence is way costly. Specially if your travelling is 10k a year. If its more than 20k a year then you should go for it.

Also don't do what ever they say like sir this will have to be changed in this service and this will change stuff. Below is the schedule you should follow:

1. Oil changes
2. Filter changes etc
3. wash and alignment and balancing
4. Get your niglling probs solved.

What are the charges of total-maintenance plan? How effective is it? What type of maintenance is covered in it? Will you please explain the total maintenance plan in brief?
