There's always something new coming up when engine design comes into the equation.

We've had variable valve timing, dual spark ignition, variable cylinder management and now this.

2 pistons sharing the the work load of a single 4 stroke piston!!!

The only pity that the Wankel engine's simplicity has never caught up for the common man's car till date. The simplicity of design is just amazing. It is also said that this engine can be driven with alternative fuels too with minor mods.Wankel Rotary Engines
