We never got any official information about what the car's problem was. They always stuck to the story that it's because we are not driving it enough to get the battery charged. Unofficially one of the technicians told there was indeed some problem with the wiring which was causing the battery to drain. I hope they would have rectified it.
The car is still with my wife's family. For now it's running fine. The last breakdown was nearly a year back when the technician who brought the car back from a routine service forgot to put the car in park mode.

PS. My sister in law, the owner of the car, got married and migrated to another country. So her troubles with it is anyway over
