I upgraded the OE tyres and rims (185/65/14) to 195/55/15 , eversince doing this , at high speeds if I am going over a dip in the road with/without rear passengers the tyres seem to touch the rear fender.

The car as done only 15000kms, so thre couldnot be weak dampers, also the overall dia from OE to the upgrade is a differnce of -1mm (mins 1mm -576mm OE 575mm Now.)

Even though the dia is similar to before the width of the tyre as well as rim has increased.
Your tyres are jutting aout more than the OE even though the dia is same. since they are jutting out more thy are fouling with the fenders.

They are not jutting out , this happens only in high speed and no problem in city

Yeah exactly at high speed the suspension travel when you hit a dip will be more than in city.
They may be jutting out a few mm and this could cause the tyre to touch the fender.
Your rim size is 6J which i think is more than the OE rim of 5.5J. which means they will stick out more than the OE.

any solution?? technically or shall I just tpthe fenders o a wee bit

earlier on my previous baleno I was using 6j rims with 195/60/r14 tyres and had no problem ,why should it now?/

Hey Prashanth , would suggest that you get spacers on. This thingy really helps coz I had faced the same problem and installed spacers. Cant really figure it when you say fenders , is it the body right above the tyre or the rear part where the bumper is.
My colleagues car had the same problem and we installed spacers which took care of it.

The most ideal upsize for the Baleno is 195/60/R14. I have seen several Balenos with this upsize and none had the problem that you are facing.

OE alloys are 5.5J ....

Is it cutting the rear tyre????.....or is it just a rubbing....

Whats the offset of your alloys????

185/65-14 is almost a perfect upsize....the problem isn't the tyre sie for sure
