Need Help: Brake pedal pulsating!!!

hi

before i tell u the problem, a brief about my car.

I own an OPEL CORSA SAIL 1.4, has run about 8,500kms and completed a first servicing.Last week i got my wheels balanced and aligned at vijay wheeel alignment centre, bangalore.

The problem:

Everytime i brake the car i have noticed that the brake pedal pulsates and vibrates, there is not shudder or vibration of the body but just the pedal.the brake works just fine but the vibration of the pedal worries me.
I went back to the alignment centre and got the camber rechecked and it was fine.even the lug nuts have been fixed properly.

i called garuda (the car service centre) on ulsoor road and they told me that its not a serious prolem.it may be that the brake is warped and may need to be machined and the problem will disappear.
i read up an opel/vauxhall corsa forum and one of the members was sharing about a similar problem and said that once he got it machined, the braking has become smooth as ever.

All this is confusing me.can any of the profesionals here throw some light on the problem? (maybe SAP is reading this too, please give me your inputs, thanks in advance)

well, i am not an expert. from experience, i can tell you that your break pads/shoes are uneven & need to be replaced ASAP. maybe your drum is also a culprit. just do what the mechanic says & see if that solves the problem

Watch to see that the wheel lug nuts are properly torqued when the vehicle is serviced. That doesn't mean zipped on with an air gun but rather final even tightening with a proper torque wrench. Unequal stress on the fasteners can speed up warping. Refinished disks and rotors will warp more quickly as well, remember. This is why some owners/shops like to replace them with new components rather than turning them down on a lathe.
