starting problem in OHC :URGENT

i had gone on a vacation for around 10 days and left my battery's black terminal disconnected. when i was back, the car just wouldnt start...
i checked the battery - it has the green ring which as per the sticker means battery is fully charged. finally i push started the car, but the car was giving out some visible amount of smoke...its been raining here in chennai last 10 days..wat do u guys think is the problem ?
is the battery dead depsite being disconnected ?
battery shows green glow which means full charge ( can there be a prbolem with the display ? )
are there any other systems that could have got damaged due to 10 day non usage ? ( car is in pristine condition otherwise )

want to chek out these things before taking the vehicle to the honda guys who would any way rip me giving various reasons...

pls help

did your car crank when you tried starting it ?

did you tighten the terminals properly ? (mostly the reason)

even if your green glow is there, please take the car to the nearest battery centre & have the battery checked before you go to Sundaram Rippers.

thanks ...checked out the battery. one of the cells was gone despite the green light glowing...
