System G seems to be out of stock everywhere. I have tried some pumps in Pune but nothing.
Either they have stopped production or they are coming out with something else

What is the impact of fuel additives to engine oil? If additives are helping to clean the deposits, then the residue, which gets mixed into engine oil, gets flushed out during the oil change. Is there any other benefit from the additive which can be enhanced by using it with fresh engine oil (i.e., after an engine oil change)?

So, assuming you want to use additives occasionally, when is it better to use an additive - before the engine oil change OR after the engine oil change?

I was trying to buy Addon D for the past 2 months, but it was not available in any of the pumps.

Luckily got a bottle from a pump in Janakpuri for Rs150.
The additive is now available in a new packing.

I remember having used it once recently at IOCL Pump on the left while coming from Shantipath towards RTR Flyover. It was available in ₹30 sachet. You may try it there.

Are fuel additives recommended for every fuel refill?

I have been using fuel additives on my Aspire TDCi since last 2-3k kms now.With the next refill coming up , I was wondering if it is required. The engine is nearing 11k kms.

From my own experience and also advice from petrolheads it would appear alternative fuel refills would be the optimum frequency. It really makes a huge difference.

3. Tell them you are a big fan of IOCL products.

They are of opinion that public does not like IOCL products. Thus they are very very care free. But when you talk with confidence, they go above & beyond to help you get what you want. My experience after pursuing this product for nearly 3 months with the dealer & Adon manufacturer. They are very receptive when you make bulk orders with small token amount. I have built trust with them so much that they get me the box within a week time.

I use it for my car (~2500 kms) & regularly in my bike during tank fill. No complaints whatsoever. Love the cost & performance.

Thilak, the IOC bunk near BTM water tank normally has this. Check there.

Thanks Condor, I tried almost every bunk in my home/office neighborhood (RT Nagar/Whitefield), even during my highway trips. This turned so elusive that I ended up using Liqui Molly which is an expensive alternative. I will give a try at BTM when I visit that part of the city.

Looking at your location mentioned under your handle, I thought you were in this part of the city. Check the IOC bunk on St Marks Road for System-D. Or even the BP bunk at Lalbagh west gate.

Let me try to find the price for the box when I go there next.
