While Skoda cars are purchased with confidence in Europe (it would not have been a hit with the taxi owners / mass market if not for reasonable amount of reliability), the ownership experience is nightmarish in India. One of my close friend who owns a Fabia, swears that he will never touch a Skoda again.

Difference as I see, is with the dealer network and also the lack of stringent laws supporting consumers in India.

Such lovely products. Sad!
