DaimlerChrysler's - INTELLIGENT NIGHT VIEW

The Hindu Business Line : Smart cars now powered by Indian brains

Nice to see that Indian engineers brian behind next generation application in cars - intelligent night view. This technology will help the driver to spot pedestrians and cyclist. Little bit confusing is the screen on dashboard- will it not be a distraction to watch out the screen while driving.

Also it was mentioned India road conditions is not yet ready to take such packages in the near future.

The immediate mass requirement would be one of Merc's earlier inventions - polaroid windscreens. Automatically cuts off glare from oncoming headlights.
