Here are the No

Please check the dimensions of both they are the stock replacements and please do reply to this post if there is a mismatch as I got this info from some local mechanic.

Hey Mega, thanks for the info. I did have a look at the part numbers you mentioned... They don't seem to fit when you compare them to the original filter. Any other part numbers you have?? The size also is a bit diff. Although K&N application list has the Fiesta 2000 as one of the applications of the parts numbers you mentioned. Fiesta 2000 is what Ikon is...

Original Filter

I did some work this weekend, took out the original filter and took some pics. The Filter compartment looks like it can take in the K&N mentioned, I am not sure.. Can anyone help

I am new to Team BHP, where can I upload the pics I took?

Cheers!

Sorry for bumping up this old thread!, but then I'm planning to upgrade my stock filters to K&N. So does anyone have the exact part number, and cost of the part?. Also, I would love to hear some reviews about the same!.

@Mods: I have searched the forum and found many on IKON 1.6 but none on Flair.

Sorry for bumping this thread up once again.
Dhanush, did you upgrade your stock filters to K&N?
You have the part number and price details?

IIRC, fellow ikon owner sammyboy was planning on installing the K&N filter on his car. I believe he had also bought it. Not sure if he had it installed.

No Manish, I have not yet upgraded to K&N. The performance gain for the price was just not convincing enough for me.

Or else, I will have to install a complete CAI, with custom plumbing. For that, you need time and patience.

Dhanush, I am not looking for much. I just wish for a little more low end grunt so that I can move around in city in 2nd gear without needing to downshift to 1st. Also hope that it increases the mileage even though if it's a small change.
How much price were you quoted.
The car is still under warranty , so wouldn't take a chance with the CAI as of now.
