Hi all,
I Really wanted to know whether Lancer has an adjustable seat height. Read it from specifications that it is there, but I can't find one in my Lancer GLXI or is it not working I don't know. Could anyone help??? :confused:

it's there on the right side of the front drivers seat. you have to pull it up to increase the height. it's like a lever.

The height adjustment lever's on the right side of your seat - closer to your knee as opposed to your bum.

It's quite long & tends to get in the way when you seat yourself. It may be quite tight & you may have to exert considerable force to move it if you've never done so before.

I don't think GLX had the option to raise driver seat, it was only there in SLX or SFX..at least when we bought the car 2001

If I remember correctly there was a version of lancer which had roll down windows and no seat height adjustment.

But for all other lancers the seat height adjust is there. I somehow dont like the lever though. It feels as if it will break.

My car has power windows. Yes there's a lever which is vertical but not able to pull it up. I feel it'll come with my hands.. :) I am able to move it front or back. I think that is the one and the problem is with the lever itself.

Are you by any chance a little on the heavier side? no offence but that could be the reason the lever doesn't move. try getting up from the seat and lifting the lever.
horizontal means fully low and vertical means fully high.

Let me try to help you out here. AS far as I remember you need to pull the lever out and pull it up to raise the seat. try it. it wont break but then dont exert too much pressure.
