Steering wheel grip position

Thought should take a poll from guys in here. My personal style is..

City Driving: -
Right hand on "2" ( as in a clock)
Left hand on "Gear knob"

Highway :- Two modes
A. Aggressive
Right Hand on "2"
Left hand on "8" between ring and spoke (Horn).

B. Relaxing
Both / One hand(s) between "7" to "5" positions

Someone told me none of the postions are correct for newer cars. He meant if you have airbag inside the steering, when deploy it will cause more damage if position is not "8" and "4" positions. Did'nt bother cause Mahindra never thought of safety.
