Yes, it is the same boost that is created by the turbocharger. Also, If there is any leak at the intercooler or plumbing, there will be a significant drop in boost values.

Re: OBD (On-board diagnostics) for Indian Cars

Hello guys, I need an OBD scanner for my Cruze LTZ AT (2012 December) to use along with IPhone 7plus.
While there are options available on AliExpress, need clarity on
1) which version/product will be compatible with Cruze
2) connectivity with IOS
Pls suggest a device which can fulfil both.

You want a GPS tracker and that allows for remote start / stop, location of the vehicle etc. However aircon operation status - you had better have Merc, Audi type more expensive models. I can't see that available for cheaper cars so you had better put the fear of god into your drivers if they leave the car parked with the engine running and aircon on to cool off. Do give them access to some shaded area to sit though, if you do that .. it is just not nice to leave people out in the hot sun for hours.

Important to remember that ios will work only with a wifi OBD. Bluetooth OBDs will not work with ios. I am using a low cost "WiFi SuperOBD (mini) with real 25K80 full chip" bought through AliExpress for my iPhone 5S with my City AT. Not sure if it will work with Cruze (though there is no reason I can think of why it should not).

So, does this mean that the ELM and Torque would work on a stock 2015 Mahindra Thar after creating the profile with ISO 91 41 2?

Please advise.

Cheers,

Jay

It should.. give it a try, Mahindra has too many versions flying around with same year/model which is an issue. But it did work on my Thar, so worth a try and fiddle with the settings of the app.

Great. Just ordered an ELM. Will give it a shot and report back on how it goes.

Re: OBD (On-board diagnostics) for Indian Cars

Hi All,

Wanted to buy a OBD II scanner for our Ford Figo 1.5 TDCi purchased on 2016.
Although I'm fairly certain all OBD II scanners will work but are there any specific "got it"s?

Or can I just go ahead and order any?

Want to buy an OBD for my 2011 Vento Petrol.
Should I prefer any specific module or the ones available at Amazon will do the work?

I recently purchased the product Rollr from Amazon. It's a little expensive and has a subscription charge from year 2 but it provides interesting user insights (not for the geeks though).

Re: OBD (On-board diagnostics) for Indian Cars

I recently purchased the TOPDON OBDCAN Elite scanner from AlliExpress for $70. It is a self contained unit with it's own 2.8" LCD screen. It is "Paisa Vasool" for me. My Nov 2008 Honda City had the airbag indicator always "ON" and I decided to take a chance with this Scanner because, other than the regular parameters, it could read and reset ABS and SRS (airbag) codes for almost all the present day cars.
Worked absolutely fine! Just connected it and ran diagnostics and it indicated "no signal from Front Right Impact Sensor". Just got my local mechanic to remove the bumper and found that the connector to the sensor was slightly loose. Gave it a dab of WD40 and fitted it tightly back. Reset the code and the Airbag Indicator light is now off. Saved a trip to the Honda Service Centre and a possibility of being ripped off for such a simple fault.
