Hi Guys

I too am facing a bit of an issue with my car;
1) Starting the car in the morning - the engine doesnt crank, need to do it atleast 3-4 times before it starts
2) done 7462 kms on it with 1 servicing
3) Am going to be away for about 3 months and during that period the car is going to lie idle, what should I do to ensure that it is up and running when I return
4) Am looking to do a Teflon coating and also anti rust, have read in the forum that 3M is a good option should I look at both being done now or after I return?

Its a Tata Xeta - GLS and bought it in August 2006.

saildrive, get the solenoid valve checked.
As for parking for long term, disconnect battery terminals before you go.
Use the search function and you will find lots of threads about teflon coating and leaving car for long periods(check car care thread too)
