Hi Everyone,

I have recently purchased a Jeep Compass Sports Plus 1.4 Petrol and have done about 1600kms. Last evening i discovered that my reverse camera doesn't show up on the screen after a brief video of the surroundings, it now says "Camera System unavailable" the screen however does not turn blue, but keeps showing me this message without any visual of the surrounding. Have tried resetting the Uconnect system, powered off and on the vehicle but dont seem to understand why this happened all of a sudden. The battery voltage also shows normal 14.2 and everything else including the parking sensors beep and are working fine, but not the camera.

Any advice on this would be appreciated and also the possible cause for it, before i take it to the service center. Also if anyone has faced a similar issue?

Get camera wires checked. They might have come loose due to some reason. Worst case scenario, camera is kaput. If so then it should be a warranty fix.
