Isn't that how you are supposed to start it in any case? If I'm not mistaken, the Safari manual specifically mentions this (clutch depressed & NO foot on the accelerator), I suppose it would be the same for the Indica as well?

no such recommendation in the manual, but if you don't depress clutch while starting it should not lead to vibrations

thats right
but u should also not step on gas at time of cranking it causes a flood situation and idle goes for a six causing a shudder due to transmission turning load and the shudder will get off the next time u blip the throttle "gently" a couple of times(more fuel less air)

I never do that.
To make this vibration go away I do this after cranking
1. Depress clutch and release or
2. Blip the throttle.


right now I follow the depress clutch while cranking thing and no vibration. This is the reason I am thinking about the friction plate angle in case the indica as DMF
