Cheapest alternate for Glaring windscreens

I came across an interesting product, it was anti glare shade for front windscreen, it may be cheapest, instead of replacing the whole windshield, Though we can wear anti glare eye glass, but few may feel uncomfortable to wear, Hope this may help some Bhpians, to avoid the windshield change. @ $17.30 with free shipping. but there is much cheaper from few sellers, but we need to buy 2 or more.

Note:
Neither, I am not endorsing the product efficiancy, nor i am marketing it. I am in no way related to that seller.

Just thought of sharing the knowledge, which i came across, if any person have used it before, please give feedback. Thanks.

Re: Cheapest alternate for Glaring windscreens

the shipping is free , they ship by china post for free, i have bought about 3 products from 3 different sellers, CF vinyl, ioniser, and remote lock , from aliexpress.com, all arrived safely. Though bit late , it may take about 50 days to reach you,

it is like ebay, so your money is safe.

Re: Cheapest alternate for Glaring windscreens

From the pic I am not getting any idea how it works and how it is supposed to help.

Also if you haven't personally used it, it's of little benefit to the rest of the forum if you just post the link here, in my opinion. :-/

In my opinion windscreen glare is because of variety of oil deposit on it. This is result of exhaust from front vehicle.
We experience this most during rainy season.
I tried liquid soap to tobacco. It works. But trick is keep cleaning your glass regularly.

I for one would not be comfortable putting anything hanging in the car in front of my face. Why not try the tobacco method? Have heard it from a mechanic also this monsoon.

Re: Dashboard / Windshield Glare

Whether, apart from a polarized sun glass, a carbon vinyl wrap can reduce the intensity of dashboard glare on the windshield? The Corolla Altis dashboard reflects too much of glare on the glass. Need something to do immediately to reduce it.

Re: Dashboard / Windshield Glare

Hi ,

I am facing the same issue in my 2015 Altis. How could Toyota do it ? the glare is sometimes so bad that it blocks my vision. it's very tiring to see through the reflection. I am desperately searching for some solution.

I too had this glaring issue on my VW Polo 2014 model.

The only solution which will cut out the glare is by using a Matte Polish on the dashboard. I'm currently using AnGel Interior & Plastic Dressing by Angelwax and i'm very much satisfied.

You'll have to re-apply every three to four months once to keep that matte effect.

Also if you are washing your car in T.A.S.S or other garages, refrain any kind of polish on the dash. They are the main culprits for the reflection because they are glossy.

Re: Dashboard / Windshield Glare

Surprised to see nobody much discussing this issue and demanding new products. Maybe my eyes are fast aging and this glare is getting on me.

Guys, please suggest some alternatives to this issue. I'm not in for windshield films as they are not legal. Is there no dashboard applicants to reduce the glare?

Why are the manufacturers not keen on developing an anti-glare dashboard?

Everyone wanted to get dashboard shiny but at the same time these glares also will come that they will not think. I don't know why companies not taken care about this issue. Many suggesting go for polarized glasses to solve this issue.
