Hi Guys,
I am facing a weird problem nowdays with my Safari DiCOR which has done about 17K Kms. The thing is that whenever I try to brake from a speed of say 60 kmph or more the brakes do not feel gripping the discs/drums in a linear manner but in jerky kind of manner i.e sometimes there is more bite in the brakes and sometimes there is no bite while keeping the paddle pressed at one level only.
To get this sorted out I recently got the tyres balanced and the allignment also checked, but still the problem is there.. Can anyone help..?

Thanks..

Get your disc pads and drums checked... also check the brake boosters and if proper vacumn is being provided to the brakes

Is there any movement (slight up and down movement) in the brake pedal when brakes are applied? If so, then you have warped discs...disc skimming should make it right.

Also make sure that there is no air in the brake system. Have it bled once if needed.

Did you get a retro done for the new booster?

Yes,even i was thinking on the same lines too.but all the above said solutions(especialy Iraghava's) are equally sound!

Would genuinely be intrested in the outcome of the physical inspection on the vehicle since it is a dicor.
