Ya ECU will be reset but no issues, you drive ur car soft footed for the initial few kms say 10-15km and ECU will take care of the rest...

Forget about exide episode and go for amaron, it its afit and forget kind of thing.

Even I feel 1 amp is on the higher side, but thats the consumption I recorded. Has anyone else checked what there consumption is?

290amps is the rating printed on the battery. I am having Exide freedom model DIN44MF

The question here is what is causing the battery to drain? I am not looking for a better battery at the moment. In future, when I replace, it will be Amaron for sure.

remove autocop connection and see if the battery drain comes down substantially, if so you found the culprit

otherwise a good auto electrician with proper equipment or the dealer will have to help
