Swift clutch replacement - Suggestions needed ASAP!

Hey guys,
Swift's clutch got busted at 4977kms (Before 2nd service). It had a few probs earlier but it completely let go today. So now i need to get a new clutch, but i don't want the OE Swift one. I'm looking for an aftermarket one. Can someone suggest or help me get one, or recommend a brand and lemme know where i can get it.

I need it ASAP! Please, very urgent

Get the street-specific clutch in Exedy or SPEC. It will last longer than OE and wont be hard.
The Race specific clutch will last way longer but will be uncomfortably hard for road use.

check what the rally guys are using in their esteems. check if a baleno's clutch will fit?

What did you do to cause the clutch to burnout and why isint it covered under warranty.

hey the swift clutch problem is common, changed 2 clutches for a friends swift in 20,000 kms, baleno clutch also doesn't make any difference, you need an after market clutch according to everyone's own driving needs and style they can choose one,im planning on getting one from clutchmaster's only waiting to find out if they even supply a lightened and pre-balnced fly-wheelfor the same...cheers...happy revvin...!!

WARRANTY! Clutch wear under 5000 km?! Not unless you smoke rubber for a living.

My friends Swift's clutch also got busted, that did 6k+ kms. So both our cars were towed away. He is again gettin the OE one while i'm looking at an aftermarket one.

How much does the Clutch Master's one cost?? Can u guys provide the price as well..

I need to get the clutch atleast by Tue/Wed so that i can get the car out this week itself. Otherwise i'll have to put in the OE one

Mine has crossed 25,000 kms and still everything is fine. I know dozen of swifts crossed 10 k mark in my office without any such problems. Really surprising to hear cluth getting busted at such lower kms.

How are the Spec after-market clutch kits? Anyone fitted it in their ride?
I was looking at the Stage 2 kit... seems apt for my needs. Any idea of the performance & price, and any alternatives?

Guys, Even Ajmat had the same problem.
This seems to be inherent with a few petrol swifts. Manufacturing defect in the Clutch assembly, i guess.
@Karthik: Since SPEC clutch for the swift is available with Pete's at Cochin, get it.

Among the SPEC list, can someone recommend the type of clutch for my car which is only used for street driving. Should i look at Stage2, Stage2+ or go upto Stage3?
