@rki2007!
1) Since its your first oil change , you need to change as per the manufacturers specified interval . in this case 1 yr.
2) It may so happen that even though you have done 7500 as against say 15000km , one may have spent a lot of time engine running in traffic.
3) If the co. is charging 4000 rs for a little over 3 litre oil , it would be synthetic.
In which case you can run it for 15000 easy without changing.
4) If your original oil is a CI / CJ Grade 15w-40 , then you can stick to the same grade of oil , shouldnt cost you more than 1200 for the quantity required.
Or you'll end up again with a situation where a yr, has gone by and you may have done less than 10000km. So again the dilemna to change or not ?
