Are you sure that it's actually quicker? I know they feel like they're revving a lot smoother, but how much quicker are they?

Been using Speed & Xtra Premium myself in my Santro, but haven't faced any knocking issues. Which is why I was kinda curious about this...
In my experience, these fuels with additives keeps the engine & injectors clean, hence the smoothness in the drive. Not sure about the going faster bit though! Placebo effect maybe?

But, I'm still not sure about the answer to my original question...
