Gearbox changed under warranty on my brand-new Tata Tiago

Good to know. This should calm the nerves of some folks who are looking to buy a Tata product but are worried about the service.
I have personally had my share of experience with Tata. In my experience, the service centers are good with mechanical repairs, even complex one's like the Engine and Gearbox. But, are not so good when it comes to electronics. The steering mounted controls on my Tata Zest stopped working some time back. When I took it for service and mentioned this, I was told they would like to dismantle the steering and send it to the factory to get it rectified!

As I found out, TATA SVC has entered an incorrect odometer entry for my vehicle. The vehicle was serviced at 12943 KM, whereas the entry for third free service has been made at 16127 KM. The service schedule is 15000 KM. Will this impact warranty of the vehicle? The SVC said it cannot be corrected, but they will take care of it if requires.
