Ok, I got the swirl marks treatment and surface enchancment done on my car and i'm extremely happy with the outcome, Here's a lil' about the procedure.

1. Washed the car
2. used a 3M clay bar to remove road and other impurities
3. Cleaned beadings and hidden areas with high air pressure,
4. Applied 3M rubbing compound to a rotary buffer and buffed the entire car, Swirls were removed but a few deeper scratches are visible ONLY under bright lights.
5. Applied 3M perfect it paste wax and buffed to a high gloss shine.
6. Tyre shine was applied to all the tires.
7. Engine bay was cleaned and sprayed with some liquid.
8. Interiors and mats were cleaned.
9. Bling! The car is simply superb! The car's shine is better than the just-out-of-the-showroom car! (Or am i just exaggerating here)?
10. Drove back home with a few people staring at the car's glow, I could see a few jealous people too

The 3M guys at trident let me watch the entire procedure and worked like true professionals. Only one guy was trained to use the rotary buffer with rubbing compounds and swirl removers. The out come is really very great, Checked under a super strong street light and no scratches or swirls can be seen. Highly recommend for black or dark colored cars. I would rate it 9.8/10

The entire procedure took about 2 hours 45 mins. Costed me
2200Rs.+ 265Rs. (taxes and other charges), The cost is higher for sedans and bigger cars.

Pros: Swirls and scratches disappear, High quality products used, You smile automatically when you see her shining.
Cons: Pricey, A few microns of paint is lost, Not to be done frequently, You're never gonna let your driver or the car wash guy to clean your car, you're gonna start loving your car all the more.

Warning- You might start loving your car more than you love your wife/girlfriend

Here are a few pictures of before and after.

See "i told you so"!!! Wash with water and clean cloth now on, and you will have the same gloss preserved for couple of months atleast. Do apply good ol clean WAX for protection, not the one with cleaning agents, pure wax, thats all

I always wash my car the tbhp way, Hose down the dirt, gentle wipe with water and sponge( A wash mitt from now on), wipe dry with a terry towel.

And one fine day my driver decides to was my car with the "cab drivers way"
Wet car, Apply shampoo on a wet rag, rub one patch of the car for 20 or more times with all his strength and then hose it down!
Wax and buff it with all the remaining energy! Voila! "how to get 30billion swirl marks in 30mins"

Anyway that's not i wanted to talk about, I'm really happy with the 3M swirl treatment, All thanks to you for suggesting me to go for the treatment.
I'm using an original F1 wax which does contain abrasives, I'm thinking of buying abel auto(turtle wax) liquid wax, what's your suggestion?
I also came across this water less car wash from abel auto(turtle wax) which acts like quick detailer with silicon polymers, which i plan to spray and wipe off ONLY AFTER A COMPLETE WATER WASH for a quick shine. Any idea about that?

Hi Akshy, The car looks wonderful. I am sure 2500 bucks was really worth the spending.

Any recommendations for getting dents & scratches repaired in Bangalore?

I need to get few dents and scratches on my i10 fixed. Can anyone recommend some good body repair shops in Bangalore? Around Marathalli, Indiraganar area if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Current WAXPOL Carnauba wax comes in red tin with red plastic cap. Product is sap green in colour. It has an aluminium foil on top of the wax. Yellow sponge applicator is there too. Retail price is around 399/-. Worth every paisa.
