Sounds like a belt that is either loose or has a bit of rubber trailing from it. Check your belts.

If he would have known that he would have got that sorted out as well

@abhishek, I think that idea about the sound coming from the engine could be your "feeling". Next time you hear it try to be a little more perceptive and listen very carefully. See if you can make out the general direction from where it is coming. Also, be very sure that if you release the accelerator and then again press it again the sound actually vanishes.

* Also, does it come everytime you start accelerating?
* If so, is there a speed range between which it comes?
* If yes then try and see that if you do not release the accelerator and just cross over the speed range does the sound stop coming?

hmmm... that could be one thing to check. another thing is, since you say it is a fluttering kind of sound, what kind of a mud flap do you have? is it the long, hanging type? or else is it the short and more soft type that bends easily and maybe even touches the tyres (maybe because the lower screw is missing in one of them)?

Did I ask him to do anything different, What I asked him to do in one line, you have asked him to do the same in many lines.

No offence meant, Just did'nt see any value in your comments

@ Abhishek

Try to see any objects that are loosely hanging, that could touch the fan or any moving component.

Better still park the car, open the bonnet, start the car and ask someone to accelerate. Try to see if you can isolate your problem.
