i am also interested in techniques to protect the sunroof.. what is this security film?

i had this 'security' film on my jeep fog lights . it just protects the glass against small pebble sized stones. anything more than 1kg thrown on a moving car will break the glass (unless its bulletproof) security film or no film.

it's okay if the glass breaks.. but i don't want to get hurt by sharp glass pieces flying off in all directions when the glass breaks. and looks like this security film helps in this aspect..
