Suspension Setup awkward

Hi Friends!!

I seem to have a slight problem with the recent suspension setup for my Esteem, we re-did the complete setup, but i have spacers added as i have bigger tyres, the rear suspension always makes some noise when I'm driving alone, my question is it becuase of the spacers?

While adding spacers did you re-tensioned the springs? If not, then get it re-tensioned. Also check if the spacers have been seated properly.

Ok, got this sorted, it was the spacers which created all the problems.

esteem 98 carb spacers added

guys, my esteem have spacers added by the previous owner of the vehicle to accommodate bigger tires. Once my speedo cross 80km i get a feeling of traveling in a boat or ship & does not give me any confidence to push beyond 80.

Is this a problem due to the spacers? Would appreciate your help.

cheers:

@Mr.Bean: To begin with, take your car to a reputed tyre shop and get the toe checked out. Incorrect toe setting can have a major impact on the 'planted' feel of the car.
