Which insurance company gives this 0 dep policy ?

I own a Figo Aspire TDCI. Ideally , yearly maintenance is around 4k-5k. But voted for 10k-25k since my usage is more. I usually cover 20k kms in an year and hence my vote.

I buy insurance from dealers always. Based on my long relation with Deccan Honda the insurance is at par with outside. Honda provides zero dep till 10 years.

Company is Iffco tokio.

Between 10K and 25K.

My 4+ year old Nexon needs 2 services a year. With out extras they cost ~10K in total. The car eats brake pads like skittles and hence that is an additional expense or 5K per year. So far I have averaged ~20K except for one year where timing kit was replaced as preventive maintenance for enabling extended warranty.

I have a 2014 Skoda Rapid 1.6 TDI and have 0 dep insurance even now. Royal Sundaram is the insurance provider.

Our Figo 1.5AT covers around 25 to 30k km/year, average service cost has been around 5k per Service. Current odo is 60k+ km.

So in total it's less than 20k per year including alignment and balancing :) not including insurance and tyres.

planning to take extended warranty upto 1.5L km to be on the safer side!

Tata Hexa XT | Have voted 25-50k inclusive of insurance.

Service costs have been limited to around 15k for past 3 years. Both major and minor.

Insurance around 30k. Remaining for tire care.

I think it'd comfortably breach 50k this year considering the 3 year 3rd party cover ends this December. So that's a flat 8k dent just for 3rd party premium.

If we end up changing tires next year, that'd be a 50-55k plus expense minimum just for the tires. So next year it could shoot up to north of 1 lac overall.

2010 Hyundai i20 CRDi- Around 32K a year average including two set of tyres. Mostly due to my OCD preventive maintenance related to belts, pulleys, tensioner. A lot of parts were replaced over the last couple of years shooting up the average cost/year.

2018 Tiago AMT- Around 6.5K an year

This does not include accessories, insurance, detailing, PPF etc. Only includes service, parts and tyres

I opted for Skoda service package which costed me 30k and so far I have done 4 annual services & I spent zero on the regular service. That translates to 7.5k per service. Quite reasonable for a 4 year old complex diesel car equipped with DSG. However, if I bring in the tyres, battery, wipers, insurance and rotors into consideration then it turns out to be 45k per year.

2017 SCross 1.3
Yearly running: ~15000km
Yearly service and part replacement cost(ASC): 12000
Other cost(tyres and battery): 6000
This car is our major workhorse as it's a diesel(low per km running cost) and we want to keep it in good shape.

2011 Etios V Petrol
Yearly running: ~5000km
Yearly service and part replacement cost(ASC): 5000
Other cost(tyres and battery): 3000
This car is our secondary car and usually sees a lot less running then the SCross

MG ZS EV - 19k km done in 1 year. So far no service cost.

Does the number include annual costs like Insurance as well? Or only mechanical bits like timely service and fixes? And I guess instead of checkbox it should be radio-button.

I drive a Jazz CVT and we have 6 months service each costing between 4-6k. Total ~10k. But insurance costs 16-18k. Total ~26-30k including both. And I have been driving it for like 2k/year since pandemic hit :Frustrati

I drive a 2016 Jazz and i just gave it for maintainence including changing engine oil, horn and other routine work and the bill was 13k out of which 6k was for labour. I hadnt given it for maintainence since last November 2021 so this is probably the only time for 2022 but i still feel 13k for a year is high.

Would select <10 since both the cars we own right now are less than 2 years old and hence covered under the free services.

For Ford Ecosport - I expect the maintenance to hover around 15-20K given Ford's exit and eventual rise in prices of spare parts.

Hyundai i10 Nios AMT - I expect the maintenance to be less than 10K if there are no part replacements in a year.

On the other hand we still have Chevy Cruze (2012 Limited Edition) which costs atleast 30K if not more per year but then we have always gotten it serviced at ASC

Average maintenance costs are between INR 10-20K per year for my cars. This is inclusive of various parts that have been replaced from time to time.

1. 2013 Polo 1.2 Highline is about INR17000 per year
2. 2015 Jazz V CVT is about INR 5285 per service which is 6 monthly so that works out to INR 10570 per year.
3. 2017 Thar is INR 7843 per year.
4. 2017 XUV500 is INR 11672 per year.

Volkswagen Vento/Polo 6R MT versions:

General maintenance is under 10K but there is something or the other each year that pushes the bill beyond the 15-17K mark but generally under 20K. But spending the 20K each year keeps the car fit for another year of beating on Mumbai roads. You need to be well-versed with VW's modus operandi to badger through them when they try charging you with stupid things e.g. recently they tried to charge me 1800 rupees for a set of halogen fog light bulbs!

I owned a Polo when the some of the first batches rolled out and the service back then was in a different league altogether both in terms of quality and cost. The quality has definitely dropped now but so has the cost, I guess there is some trade off everywhere in life :)
