I think they do sell service manuals at the dealership. Got myself an old one from a friend. He did mention that they sell it for 300-400 bucks. But there is an issue with avalaibility.

I also got the service manual the same way from Bajaj.

But the service manual for Pulsar is available at many websites/torrent networks.

But I don't how to get the service manual for Indian cars.
Anyone tried mailing the cos ?

I wrote to Maruti for the workshop service manual for Swift. The company coordinated with one of their dealers in Pune who have placed the order for the book. They have promised to get the book in 7-8 days. I am not sure about the cost yet.

Who did you write to exactly. Appreciate if you can provide the details. Would like to have one myself.

I used the "Contact Us" link (Maruti Udyog Ltd: address, regional offices, on road services, call centers, toll free number, call center, Furgaon, Delhi, car queries, works office, contact form, locations) to send Maruti the mail, requesting for the workshop service manual.
