replacement should cost you around 600-700 bucks.

Thanks for your efforts, Sumeet. I got the wire from Honda Dealership here for around 1400/- . Got it fixed by my local mechanic. The CEL light is gone now. I need to find a good Spare Parts dealer in Pune now, as I feel 1400/- is too much for a cable, also they do not sell parts over the counter, I had to pay the labor charges as well, around 150/- . Getting it fixed at honda might have taken 3-4 hrs as they were pretty occupied. It took them 1 hr to locate the part.
