WagonR Gearbox sound when rev up in standing position

hello,
I have a WagonrR (2001 dec) model LXI. There is one strange problem in gearbox. When the car is in my garage and if i rev up it to around 3K or 4K rpm there comes a huge metallic voice of gears colliding with each other. Now this sound gets stop as i press the clutch pedal. Now when i release the clutch it start to come again. i am mechanic my self but unable to trace the problem. Can anyone help me for this. I will be very thankful for ur suggestions
