The mechanics make sense.

What is done is similar to a tank's tracks.
But is it really feasible?
Would the physics really work that way?

Or is this another pre-planned social media video?

Don't try it. Jack it up at the wrong point, and the car will pivot off the edge and down the cliff. And then, where are you going to find rope that long and thick? And the bricks?

It's easier not to drop the wheel over the edge in the first place, and if you do, get someone to tow you out. Carrying a tow strap is far easier and economical than carrying 100m of 1" rope and half a dozen bricks in your car!
