Rains aftermath - Water enter my santro

I drove through heavy rains last night and parked my car in a dry area. This morning when i took out my car, i noticed carpet on passenger footwell both in front and rear was water soaked. I also noticed water in the spare tyre well.

Anyone has any clue as to how it got there? The windows were firmly closed and i dont see water dripping from top anywhere.

Also what should i do to dry this water completely?

If the water level has not gone beyond this, you need to dry out all your carpets and remove the spare wheel and jack, spanner and dry them too.

If the car is in a safe area, open all doors to avoid stale smell but if not, you might need to be standing around for an hour or so.
