Problem with Zen

Dear All,

As you know I have 2003 end Maruti Zen Vxi…. From last 2 days I am facing a problem, whenever I takes my car over 70km/ hour it stats vibrating from left hand side ( front side ), I had changed tire of left hand side in last week ( front one) (Changed = my earlier tire had almost come to its end so had kept that in dickey and started using dickey’s tire , This tire is in good condition) plz suggest what do I do ?

Thanks in advance

Best Reagrds,
Jitendra

Aren't both the front tyres supposed to have similar tread wear?

Wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is maximum tire life and a vehicle that tracks straight and true when driving along a straight and level road.

Wheel balancing on the other hand allows the tires and wheels to spin without causing any vibrations. This is accomplished by checking for any heavy spots on the wheel-tire combination and compensating for it by placing a measured lead weight on the opposite site of the wheel from where the heavy spot is.

Alignment costs around 200 for zen, and balancing is also in the same range. Its maximum one hr job.
