PETA folks will be targeting you now "zerocritical" .Phew! so are you done with the slaying ? Check for some distant cousins trespassing as surely there might be a few and never rest until they are tasked out.

Atleast you could have killed it in a single shot and then burnt it. Usually i release the rats & mice(that are caught in my household) into the nearby wilderness area.

I found it too yukkie to first release it, kill it then burn it..

And yes.. there are definitely their cousins around.. some more rat kills vanished after the funeral of one. thankfully none damaged my car.. (parked it in opposite direction with tobacco in it)

Will lay trap again tonight.. meanwhile i've parked my car in office till i catch all of them and rat kills stop vanishing.

looks like major update here. Mighty Rats are down in dust.

Well if you get those professional guys for pest control, then it will be better. They will keep mouse away from you car any where you park.
Catching rat and killing is a temporary solution buddy.

Ya i know.. Just called the pest guys.. Fixed an appointment for Sunday. He will do the Gel treatment for cockroaches in kitchen/bedrooms and some tablet and spray treatment for rats in the compound. Quoted me 700(gel)+200(tablets/Spray) for the job. hopefully this will solve the problem.

Rat kill will take about 4-5days so since they are vanishing its a good sign

I had found 4-5 of them(dead) after 5 days.

my problem is not rats but cats..
a cat near my house has given birth to a couple of kittens. and those young ones maybe for warmth or something gets under my hood and will be hiding near the engine or near there.. so everyday b4 leaving home i have to check the hood and if they were there need to scare them off and then start the car :-)
i did that a few times and lost the patience.. so one day with the help of a servant got those kittens put it in a bag and then released them quite far from my place !!

so at least no rats till those were there.. so not sure now ;-)

please make sure that they dont find their way back !! I have experienced the same, make sure you leave them quiet far off next time in case they return.
( I think kittens wont be able to find their way back home )
