Autocar Specifications (True/false)

Hey i was going through the autocar magazine last page where all the cars specs are given i was wondering if these informations are true.

for example:
20 to 80(3rdgear)
Alto Accentt baleno
for maruti alto 15 sec 14 sec around 13

how is that alto is so good in accelaration having less torque i personally drove my accent with ac from 20 to 80 in 3rd gear it doesnt even take 10 seconds.

i drove my friends alto 20 to 80 the car shows no accelaration at all in 3rd gear. how is that there is only 1sec diff between these two cars.It actually stalls in 3rd.

Even if this information is true the alto felt going no where near to 80 as the accent would go.

Why the Accent you can also compare the specs with Baleno, do they mean that Baleno is just 2 secs faster than Alto.. i am confused.

All tests are done with Racelogic Vbox. Which is quite reliable. However what the mags claim is debatable. As long as all the parameters are same for all cars I see why we should not take them up for analysis.
