Hi gurus
For past 2 months I was test driving different cars, But Today I drove Getz prime 1.1 It had immense power car was able to start on it's torque with 5 ppl sitting in car. and on 2nd gear car comfortably reached 50kmph but after coming home with full of satisfaction about car i bit confused that is it really a 1.1 or dealer showed me 1.3 instead and told that it is 1.1
Can you guys tell me how to differentiate between 1.1 and 1.3 Getz Prime (both from exterior or/and Interior)
I am really thinking of buying this CAR.

1.3 comes with a "1.3" sticker on the lower part of its boot. BTW, the 1.1 is definitely sluggish.

Hmmm... strange question indeed. In fact torque is one thing that may not really be able to tell you how fast a car can accelerate (sluggishness test). And there is not much of a difference in the torque of the 1.1 and 1.3 I guess (its a 1kgm difference AFAIK).

Some of the ways to identify 1.1 from a 1.3 could be,
* lift the bonnet hood. the 1.1 has the reworked eRLX engine... so if you know the santro engine you may be able to tell.
* Tyre profiles are different. I think the 1.1 sports the 155 profile tyres (155/80 ?) whereas the 1.3 has the 175 profile tyres. So look at the tyres labelling.
* Featurewise, the 1.1 will not have fogs whereas the 1.3 versions have fog lamps. The 1.1 tyres come with hubcaps only. The rear spoiler is only available in the 1.3 Rear glass in the 1.3 comes with Wash&Wipe. Even the driver's seat armrest is only available in the 1.3 AFAIK. Body colored mirrors and door handles also are a 1.3 speciality. Ummm... I am sure there will be many more. But these should do.
* May be you can even look at the hatch door. The 1.1 should have 1.1 badging moreover the 1.1 is available in the GLE and GVS trims. The GLS and GLX trims are only available in 1.3 version AFAIK.

If it had rear wiper + defogger it is 1.3 else 1.1

If the tyres were pathetic and "without" wheel caps , alloys it was 1.1

If there was no power windows then it was 1.1

Last

if the driver seat has arm rest then it was 1.3 else 1.1
