Xeta GLG 1.2 front bumper cost.

i had unfortunate incident with a truck yesterday. i was driving behind
a truck yesterday and found myself close to it. instead of breaking i
accelerated slightly and unfortunately hit a pothole because of which
my front guard got entangled in the back guard of the truck. then the
truck pulled my car for a meter or so before halting which resulted in
my front guard getting bent and breaking of the 2 bolts on which the
front bumper resides and so the bumper is now solely resting on the bolts near the tryes and the front guard. so i want to know what is the cost of the front bumper. any idea. thanks in advance.

Yaar, call the TATA service station they will tell you the price and get it repaired there...

FYI, my friend changed his Altos bumpers from MASS few months back and it costed 1100 rupees...

i finally got my xeta's front bumper replaced at 2,500 Rs after claiming the insurance. without claiming the insurance it would have been some where around 7 to 8 K. the car does look new. thanks for all the support.

I too had to get my front bumper changed on the xeta. The entire amount was 68xx/- out of which i had to pay around 2400/- after claiming insurance.

7-8K is very expensive for Indica Xeta front bumpers, I'm sure they are body coloured bumpers, hence the cost, but even then it seems a tad expensive, would be interesting to see how others feel on the same.

, I think they take 4K to bodycolour those bumpers...

i got the quotation as follows:
1.> front bumper (black) - 4,300/- (company does not produce body coloured bumpers),
2.> Coloring it to body color - 2,600/-.
3.> Cess charges - 500/- and
4.> Labour charges - 500/- approx.

i was under the impression that tata motors parts are cheap.
