Hi, I have one question. My Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Emotion has the chassis number ending with 6019ENZ. I'm thinking this means its manufactured in May 2010. But I got the RC yesterday and it says the year of manufacture is March 2010. Which is the correct one? And will there be any problem because of this ? can i get it changed if the date on the RC is wrong ?

ENZ is May 2010. Its an error happened from RTO side. Yes you can get it correct the RC.

The full VIN can be found on the floor under the Driver's seat.


Along with the 17 digit you can find one more additional digit/letter which represents month.

Sorry date code can't be disclosed as its getting through sources.

Since it is May-2010. I am sure it would be BIV complient engine. And more over, they wouldnt be able to register anything other than BIV in chennai! stupid me!

But would it be ok to buy a month old car?

Its too common, sometimes the delivery to the dealer itself takes 2-3 weeks from the plant.
