Is Star Gas LPG kit good for Maruti MPFI-ed vehicles ?

Team,

Finally I have decided to go ahead and install LPG kit in my car ( Zen vxi), and I heard that "Star Gas" ( LPG Kit )is one of the best suited kit for Maruti MPFI-ed vehicles.

Is this true ? plz comment

Star Gas is a good option. Go ahead !

BUT, there are lots of LPG threads here. I don't feel any need for a separate thread.

When it comes to LPG and CNG, installation and tuning is more important than the brand of the kit.

Hi nicejits,

I m using star gas kit in my esteem since last 3 years.I m very happy with it.Person from whom I fitted this kit is very bullish about this kit.Its working very fine except few pipe fitting problems which were sorted out fast.It is best kit according to him.

Its giving me an astonishing FE of 17 to 18 in mumbai city with very very less pollution.(of course FE is the result of many successful experiments I had done in past).

U r getting FE of 17 to 18 in mumbai city on LPG ??? which year model u has ?? MPFI or carb ?? open loop close loop ??? how much did u bought for ??

Hi,

Its 95 carb esteem with open loop system.Gain in FE is result of many unknown yet very effective work done on my car.Kindly go through my other threads about this.

How much did u shell out for LPG conversion ansd whats d capacity of LPG tank ?? i am plaaning to convert zen vxi ?

Hi,

Cost of LPG kit was around 19k 3 years back and I m having 60 ltr tank.Roughly 80% of 60 ltr is the filling limit.I used to refill 46 ltr in my case which is my upper limit.It gives me a range of roughly 750+ km of driving in city.
