Distributor coil problem

I have Santro ZipDrive 2001 model(done 51k) recently I have installed CNG kit in my car and facing very jerky ride with CNG but it's working fine with petrol. Mechanic told me to change distributor coil (only cap) I can see spark from distributor coil he don't have that distributor coil cap so I went to other mechanic but rather changing distributor coil cap he removed the distributor coil cap and clean the cap with sand paper and car start working fine with CNG but rarely I face that jerk and some noise. Should I change distributor coil cap or this is because of CNG?
One thing I have notice with CNG is that after driving for 20-30Km the chassis where gear lock is installed is heat up very much compare to petrol is there any problem?

Please help
