Hi,
My OHC's 'B' part of the exhaust system is rusted and the expansion chamber(of front silencer) has fallen off. The Sundaram guys say that the 'B' part costs 12k. As i am planning a turbo (well still not able to make it), will it be useful to buy this? Or go for a local stuff (welding ruled out by welders here..may be some experts still there...)?
Any shops in Hyd who sell local made exhaust parts?
another option is to get the exhaust system (to be done with turbo job) and fit it ahead of the actual turbo job being done to avoid double costs.
Any pointers??
Regds..............

I think it will be better if you go for a complete FFE (excluding the exhaust manifold). Later, get the custom exhaust manifold, with your turbo.

go with nikhils advice....

As discussed, get a mechanic to weld a sleeve on to it. Should hold for a few thousand km atleast. Once you get the turbo job, you can think about an FFE, depending on sound levels.

sleeve jobs are pain and temp fix, avoid it if you can.

What Nikhil said makes sense. An entire FFE (with headers) will cost you as much as what Honda is quoting you for a part of the system. Since performance is part of your future plans, fitting a FFE is a good start!

problem solved. fitted free flow without header.
Thanks for suggestions..
