Hi guys,
I want to purchase a new set of tyres for my Lancer. I want to go for a tyre that fits my 14 inch alloys and has nice profile height. I want to minimise that gap between the body and the tyre and also want good wheel base size, though it should not jutt out too much.
Also this car goes on long trips very very often, so he tyres must be long lasting ones.
Which brand do you suggest? Any particular model that you guys suggest?

hi,
you can try 195/65/14in size...for filling that gap...if u want good grip and comfort try michilin pilot precede,,,,,and if u r cost conscious, try goodyear ventura...

I just checked out michelin, also saw Brigdestone ....I think i will chose Michellin as u suggested, many friends suggested the same, thank you jack33.

195/65-14 is the wrong upsize my friend for the lancer. 195/60-14 is the max it can take. This fills up the wheel well and offers good ride as well as handling.

And please do use the search function, there are quite a few Lancer upsize threads where the sizes have been discussed in much detail.

hi
no problem in using the size mentioned.I am using 195/65R14 Goodyear venturas for the last 8-9 months. No problem whatsoever
Cheers

What tyre options do we have in 195/65-14 other than Goodyear Ventura??

it will fit well my friend..my last tryes were 195/14/65....and now i'm using 205/60/14.....both r okay...
