Water Leakage in my OHC

Need you help again guys....

from past few days my OHC is getting water leakage ...

I donno wherez it comin from..

For first few days its was on the front passanger side.
then front and rear passanger side.

from last 3 days just drivers side is dry all the three sides are wet always...

Even if we try to remove water by cloth it keeps coming i cant locate the source.

The local garage guy tried to keep the AC ventilation open of the car open and pour a few buckets of water on the front windshield but he said its not from ac pipes nore is it coming from door.

Check the windows, even if there's a slight gap between the glass and the rubber beading, water can seep in. Happened to my car once.

check the windows and wind screen for leakage or even if the door rubbers are worn out it might seep in

Check the AC drain pipe. Chances are it is loose and that water is dripping inside the car!

Shan2nu, Malcolm, your explanations will hold good only if it is raining. yeah? it has been dry for long in Mumbai.

~HONDA~,
your post is slightly vague to me.
- do you see water accumulate when your car is parked.
- if yes... then did you run the AC during the immediately previous drive?
- did you try driving long time without the AC on?
- did the mechanic check the AC drain pipe for any clogging / breakage / leakage
- by water on three locations that you have mentioned, do you mean stagnant water, wet and soaking carpet?

the only source of water that can enter the cabin is the AC drain pipe.
focus on that right from where the draining starts and till the point that it exits the cabin out of the firewall. you must be able to pinpoint the leak.

if you are getting a bad smell, then i assume this has been happening for quite long and it has been noticeable slowly and lately. yeah?

Nope

- did the mechanic check the AC drain pipe for any clogging / breakage / leakage
Yes he checked it and said its ok...
(Maybe he didnt checked it properly!!!)

- by water on three locations that you have mentioned, do you mean stagnant water, wet and soaking carpet?
Completely soaked carpet, Just drivers side is still dry

if you are getting a bad smell, then i assume this has been happening for quite long and it has been noticeable slowly and lately. yeah?

Even i think it must be coming from ac pipe.

HONDA
It has happened to me also once and the culprit was the AC drainiage pipe.
So please get it checked from another mechanic.
