Team-BHP - Advice needed on Injector cleaning

Can anyone tell me how this additive is supposed to be used, I could not find any instruction for this Liqui Moly Jetclean Fuel System Cleaner. Can this be added directly to petrol ?

No instructions on the product itself gives an indication that this product is not a DIY but to be used by professionals.

Look here. But what are you trying to do ??, clean the fuel system ??.

have you grabbed this from the A.S.S ? i think i have seen this/ similar ones with M.U.L people for which they use a machine to pump in the engine. please dont experiment with this unless and untill you know the procedure.

i think the link above says it should be mixed with fuel , after the jet clean procedure.

Heck, I thought its a injector cleaner like IFTEX System G, just mix with fuel and use it.

Its a proven deposit remover(fuel additive) from BG company, a modern treatment, which is simply added to a full tank of petrol, safely cleans away accumulated deposits in parts of the engine fuel system (including injectors) and from the intake components, intake valves and combustion chambers. Recommended every 15000Kms.

Just got recommended by Maruti (as the distributor told me) for use in their cars.

The picture was of a different additive.

10ml is too low a measure to show any difference specially when these are supposed to be used directly using the cleaning apparatus.

He should be happy that he didnt pour all of it as its effect on the fuel pump etc cannot be determined (damaging or neutral).

I dont know, since this product is not meant for use with the fuel you cannot determine if it will cause anything wrong. The only component it could damage was the Fuel pump, rest anyway is getting burned in the CC.
