CNG Vs LPG

Hi All,

I have bought a new Indica Xeta. My daily running arround is approx 88.00 Kms. Im an evaluating the option for an alternate fuel. Which one should i go for LPG or CNG.

The following points are also at the back of my mind.

1. With CNG I get the TATA warranty, with LPG warranty is void.
2. I want to maintain the engine health too.

Waiting for your suggestion and views.

Regards
Vishal Mukherjee

CNG, I'm driving my Xeta for 22,000 KM on CNG. Cheaper,Cleaner and More Mileage compared with LPG. Running a closed loop system, no major power difference.

With 88 Km running, it makes more sense to choose CNG on which you wll get around 16.65-19 Km/kg, with LPG mileage is 10-20 % lower than petrol, all you save is the difference in Petrol and LPG costs.

There is no reported damage on engines running on CNG, Just maintain the service schedules and checks- It will be recommended to run on Magnatec or Synthetic Engine Oil.

You could also use the search option to find many threads discussed here on CNG and LPG. You could also go through my review of the XETA CNG , It will answer most of your questions.
