Till date i was using Castrol Engine oil in my car, my car has clocked 49k till date, i am happy with its performance, but i came across interesting info in webs which had given rates of oil, its worth looking into it,

1) Mobil 1 (Rs.160 for 1 liter)
2) Shell (Rs.137 for 1 liter)
3) Motul (~Rs.180 for 1 liter)
4) Pennzoil
5) elf (Rs.180 for 1 liter)
6) Castrol (Rs.230 for 1 liter)
7) Servo brand of lubricants from Indian Oil
8) Cool Kendall
9) Veedol
10) HP Mak (Rs.140 for 1 liter)

Normally i requires 4 ltr oil, Does it make sense to look at other options like Mobile 1, Shell ? can somebody change oil brand after vehicle is run for 49k?

My regular oii Change duration is 5k,, but some bhpians suggested to change oil at 10k only Airfiler need to change at 5k , will not loose on performance and F.E.

you should change oil every 10k kms only if your using synthetic.
