Tech about lancer 1.8

Hi,
I am planning to get a lancer 1.8 .....In booklet they have given 120bhp but in website it has given 122PS which is correct.....

Is it possible to fix nitrous and turbo in it???

Regards,

both are the same

as 1ps=735watts
1hp=746watts

so 120bhp=89520watts =121.79ps

lets hope this is right.

OK guys,
Stop arguing. Here's a Horsepower an Torque converter for you.
Just pop in the figures and press the button.

Hi Mahi0375,

Speedsatya's first post seems correct. PS and HP are very similar units, but not exact, therefore there will always be a slight difference in the figures.

You seem to be planning some powerful mods, how do you plan to tackle the automatic gearbox situation?

actually 1KW = 1.34HP
1PS = .99HP

Most car makers use PS figures as that gives them an additional 1 to 1.5% from the BHP figure.

I'm not exactly sure of the difference (if any) between HP and BHP!

u can fit turbo and nitrous on an at or mt car makes no difference..just performance in a at and mt will differ...also u have to do a lot mods to u r engine for turbo...its not a bolt on or plug and play system like nitrous...might have to change pistons, connecting rods, crank and also ecm or buy a piggy back system for boost control

u can check www.rpw.com.au for all mods for mitsubishi cars. I think KS Motorsport is the official dealer for RPW in India. I dont think he stocks anything, but am sure he can order whatever you need.
